About Us

Hartford Farms is a family run farm located near Wentzville, Missouri, by Russell & Morgan Bresnahan.  We specialize in Pumpkins, Gourds, and other Fall Décor for both the wholesale and the retail marketplace.  During the Fall our products can be found at roadside stands and grocery stores throughout Missouri and surrounding areas.  

When we started we grew only 1 acre of pumpkins, now with over 25 acres planted each year we are able to produce approximately 50,000 pumpkins and gourds ranging in size from small to extra large, and every color you can imagine.  We plant approximately 27  varieties each season in order to be able to offer our customers a large selection of colors, shapes, and sizes. 

We sell our pumpkins two different ways, wholesale and retail.  Our wholesale pumpkins are sold at both produce auctions locally, and directly from our farm to retail markets such as grocery stores and farmers markets.  Our retail sales are through direct purchase on our farm by consumers, at one of our popup roadside stands in the fall around Wentzville, Missouri, , and our newest method, Our Mobile Pumpkin Patch.
